If you are looking for a little corner of paradise where you can come and relax, the Melsy will meet your expectations! This magnificent chalet with 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and 2 bathrooms, a spa and a pool table offers a splendid view of Lake Sébastien and the surrounding nature.
Whether you come to enjoy the lake in summer or to indulge in your favorite winter activities (skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing), the Melsy is the perfect pied-à-terre for you. A lot of love has been put into the details from the decoration to the pool table to the large parking lot so that you have the best of stays.
The chalet is located near the snowmobile trails to reach the Monts Valins and 30 minutes from Valinouët. An electric vehicle charging station is available on site.
The chalet has a maximum authorized capacity of 8 adults and 5 children.
*On site you can add boat rental (2 kayaks and 1 paddle board), a daily fee applies.

Base rates calculated for 4 adults. From the 5th adult, $25.00 per person / per day is added to the bill.
*It is important to mention additional people on the reservation, even if they are added after the reservation. In the event that additional people not mentioned are observed on site, charges will be applied to your reservation.
To confirm your reservation :
Payment for your stay is made by credit card via our transactional and secure website. You can book directly online at www.tavatachalets.com or contact a member of our team at 581-681-0575 and we will email you the confirmation link for your reservation.
A 1st payment of 50% of the total of your stay is due at the time of booking to confirm your dates. The balance is paid automatically on the same credit card 30 days before your arrival on the premises. If the reservation is taken less than 30 days before your arrival, the entire invoice is then paid in one payment.
*At the time of booking, you will be required to agree to our booking conditions .
**Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. Tavata Chalets will pre-authorize an amount of $1000 on the credit card for this purpose. In the event of a breakage, guests will be charged the full cost of repairs, these not being limited to the $1000 already pre-authorized on the card. Guests will be contacted before an amount is charged to their card.
***Pets accepted in certain chalets under certain conditions. Contact us to confirm authorization before booking .
****All our accommodations are non-smoking
Cancellation Policy
- 100% of the reservation is refunded if there is cancellation more than 60 days before the planned date of the stay,
- If there is cancellation between 30 to 60 days before the scheduled date of the stay, the tenant will be reimbursed up to 50% of the total reservation,
- If there is cancellation less than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, the tenant will not be refunded.
**Note that modifying a stay to reduce the number of nights is subject to the same rules as a complete cancellation**
