Cottage - Capitale-Nationale

New property, located in the municipality of Lamarche, 45 minutes from Saguenay and 35 minutes from the city of Alma, this chalet is nestled at the foot of the Monts Valin in a natural fjord. Enjoy a vast, intimate, wooded, and mountainous terrain, with no nearby neighbors. On-site, you'll have a breathtaking view of Lake Tchitogama as well as a 5-minute walk access from the chalet. Follow the path down to the lake, and you'll find a large grassy area with free access to the dock at Camping Tchitogama. Fishing is excellent there. The lake teems with fish of different species, including pike, walleye, and several others.

For groups of 6 people or less, you will have access to the basement only.
For groups of 7 or more, you'll have access to the entire chalet.
Be sure to enter the correct number of people when booking. Rates are based on number of people.

Back at the chalet, make the most of the outdoors; enjoy your meals outside on the terrace to take advantage of the panoramic view, then make a fire in the evening to keep warm!

This chalet is close to ATV and snowmobile trails. With its 130 km of navigable waters, come and discover Lake Tchitogama and the Péribonka River. Nature lovers will enjoy exploring the Tchitogama Lake Trail, the White Falls and Tower Mountain trails, accessible by waterway. A multitude of activities await you in the region, just minutes from the chalet:

• Otis Nature: Pike and walleye fishing, boat launch, watercraft rental ($), sandy beaches and swimming, ATV and hiking trails
• Jardin Scullion: One of the largest conifer gardens in the world, offering guided tours.
• Évasion Péribonka: Enjoy the boat launch with a dock. Bring your boat or any other watercraft to navigate the river, fish, and even reach the Péribonka dam. Equipment rental ($), gastronomy, ATV, hiking, etc.
• La ferme à minuit: Guided dog sled tours
• Véloroute des Bleuets: 256 KM bike path around Lac St-Jean

If you have the chance to stop at the Saguenay Fjord National Park, admire its splendid shores and dizzying cliffs, it's a must-see in the region!

Please note: *Owners are open to accepting small dogs (maximum of 15 lbs), for a maximum of 2 animals per stay. Fees apply. *In winter, we strongly suggest having a 4x4 vehicle to climb the slope and access the chalet. *There is no cell phone reception on-site.
