Welcome to Chalet La Source du Bonheur!

Our magnificent chalet is nestled on the banks of the Mékinac River and offers you a true refuge in the heart of nature, in St-Joseph de Mékinac (Trois-Rives), in the heart of Mauricie and only two and a half hours from Montreal and Quebec city. 

Featuring 3 closed bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8-10 people*, our chalet is the perfect place to escape everyday life and create unforgettable memories with your loved ones and friends.

Enjoy an outdoor spa accessible all year round (4-5 places) with a breathtaking view of the Mékinac River. Relax in the comfort of our gazebo, where you can enjoy delicious meals away from mosquitoes.

The outdoor fire pit (logs included) is perfect for spending beautiful evenings in a friendly atmosphere. In summer, embark on our tubes for an unforgettable descent of the river for about 400 meters (depending on the water level).

The cottage is located only 1.5 km from ATV and snowmobile trails!!

Prices may vary depending of how many persons you are. Please send us an enquiry with your dates, the number of adults and children and if you are bringing your dog.  

COSTS:

Cleaning fee: $160-220

Taxes (GST QST and accommodation taxes are added to the stay)

Refundable Security Deposit: $600

The person who reserves must be aged 25 and over.

Minimum 2 nights at all times

Minimum 3 nights can be mandatory on long weekends, Christmas Holiday and Construction Weeks.

RULES FOR DOGS:

We accept under certain conditions and only with our authorization.

Additional costs: $50-75 per stay

BOOKING TERMS:

For any reservation request, a deposit of 30% (non-refundable) of the total amount of the stay will be required. Final payment (including the $600 security deposit) must be made 30 days before taking possession of the chalet.

LATE BOOKING: In the case of a booking made less than thirty days before the rental period, full payment will be required upon booking. No credit for early departures.

CANCELATION :

1. Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking OR made more than 90 days prior to arrival. 

2. Cancellation made between 90 and 30 days before the start date of the stay, the 30% deposit is non-refundable.

3. Cancellation more than 14 days before the arrival date, 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be non-refundable.

4. Cancellation less than 14 days before the arrival date, 100% non-refundable, only the amount of the $600 security deposit will be refunded.
