***Rollande and Émile's house is part of Le Baluchon Eco-Resort. Included: outdoor activities and equipment, 35 km of forest trails, both the resort's indoor and outdoor seasonal pools, and the whirlpool.*
This large, welcoming and ultra-comfortable villa is nestled on the site of The Baluchon Eco-Resort, an ideal place to gather and enjoy unforgettable experiences in nature. Reconnect with your loved ones in this spacious, fully equipped home, perfect for creating lasting memories!
A vast furnished porch wraps around the house, extending into two distinct terraces at the back, each with a wood-burning fireplace and BBQ. You'll love relaxing there, listening to the birds sing and the gentle rustling of the breeze in the trees. If you listen closely, you'll also hear the nearby Du Loup River and its cascading waters.
The common areas of the house are spacious and bathed in natural light, while the large private bedrooms, soundproofed and equipped with the same comforts as inn rooms, offer a peaceful retreat at any time.
Inspired by modern local architecture of La Mauricie, the Rollande and Émile house draws inspiration from the beautiful farmhouse built by the owner's great-grandfather, a carpenter by trade. Its interior, designed in a ‘‘slow design'' style, highlights the work of local artisans and incorporates wood from the surrounding land. You will admire the paintings, murals, and metal finishes that enhance the furniture, paying tribute to Quebec's rich history. The curtains, throws, and bedspreads are also made by a local company.
You can sense that this childhood home (also located in Saint-Paulin) holds many precious memories. It was through years of outdoor activities and exploration on the land that now makes up the Baluchon estate that a deep love for this magnificent place was born.
The Baluchon's reception, restaurants, and bakery are just a few minutes' walk away. The pools, hot tub, and gym are about a ten-minute walk (take advantage of the wooden walkway along the Du Loup River) or a few minutes' drive, in the SPA building.
Rollande and Émile's house is the perfect place for a group stay, whether with family, friends, or colleagues. It can accommodate up to 14 people with its four bedrooms and 7 comfortable beds. The house includes three private bedrooms, each featuring two beds (a fixed queen bed and a queen murphy bed), a private bathroom with a shower (the main bedroom is equipped with a shower and a bathtub), a work desk with an ergonomic chair, storage unit, a Keurig-style coffee maker, a mini fridge, air conditioning, a television, and a telephone.
A fully independent loft with a cube-like appearance is connected to the house. It includes a kitchenette and a cozy fireplace area. The wall adjacent to the bed is made entirely of bay windows, offering a stunning, immersive view of the surrounding nature.
The spacious and practical common areas are designed for enjoyable group meals and gatherings. The open-plan, fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, microwave, cookware, dishes, two fondue pots, and a filter coffee maker) extends into a dining area with a counter and a long table. Next to it, the living room area features sofas, armchairs, a gas fireplace, and a television. You'll love relaxing in the charming traditional rocking chairs while admiring the view.
The half bathroom includes a sink, toilet, washer and dryer.
The loft features a king-size bed, a bathroom with a shower, a storage unit, a Keurig-style coffee maker, a stove, refrigerator, cookware, and dishes, a dining table for two, air conditioning, a television, a telephone, a sitting area with a work desk, an ergonomic chair, armchairs, a gas fireplace, and panoramic views.
