L'Ensoleillé is a recently built chalet with 2 bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen adjacent to a large dining room and a living room with a very cozy wood fireplace. 3 closed bedrooms make up the property. The bedroom upstairs give access to the upper gallery and its spectacular view of the Batiscan River. Two other bedrooms are located on the garden level and gives you direct access to the courtyard and the spa. The garden level also has 4 single bunk beds to accommodate children.
Outside you will find 4 large terraces to enjoy the view of the river or the forest, whether it is with a good coffee, a glass of wine or a nice cold local beer in hand. Two campfire areas are located at the rear of the chalet, one near the terraces and the other near the river. You will therefore be able to enjoy the stars on your Adirondack chair with a toasted marshmallow in your hand.
The experience:
The ultimate rustic waterfront log cabin experience. The property is on the banks of the Batiscan River, allowing several water sports such as kayaking*, paddle boarding*, pedal boats*, fishing and swimming. In addition, the river is navigable for 7km.
No direct neighbors either to the right or left of the property. Despite the impression of isolation, the chalet is located less than 5 minutes from the village of Lac-Aux-Sables and its famous lake (navigable) where water activities are just as practicable in addition to having the most beautiful beach in Mauricie.
For nature lovers, the exceptional fauna of the region gives rise to the observation of foxes, great herons, hawks, hummingbirds, etc. Several walking trails are located around the property.
Many ATV and snowmobile trails are located on the outskirts. Trail #23 passes near the chalet. In winter, the site transforms into a snowshoeing and cross-country skiing paradise.
The proximity of the city of Shawinigan gives you the opportunity to enjoy its attractions such as its golf clubs, the energy city, its numerous stores and restaurants including the Trou du Diable microbrewery, the Saint-Maurice river, Lac-à-la-Tortue, Lac-Des-Piles, etc. Even closer, Saint-Tite offers you the chance to enjoy the À La Fut microbrewery with its exceptional beer menu incorporating extraordinary food. And what about the famous world-renowned event that is the Saint-Tite Western Festival. You have to experience it to understand. The festivities extend throughout the village and the rodeo is most spectacular.
