Summary
Beautiful, cozy cottage located in Val-des-Lacs, on Lac Gagnon, in the high laurentians. Ideal for a small family, the cottage is located 20 minutes from St-Agathe, St-Donat and 30 minutes from Tremblant.
The cottage has a bedroom with a Queen bed, a bedroom with a single bed (whe the basement staircase is located though) and a basement with two single beds and a couch whose mattresses can be used as two extra beds. The cottage is designed for our family of four, but it can accommodate up to 3 adults and 4 children if necessary. The kitchen and living room complete the main living area.
In winter, you can ski or snowshoe on the lake as well as in the nearby trails (within walking distance). The nearest ski hill is Mont Blanc (20-25 min). The slopes of Tremblant are 35 minutes away. The trails of UQAM are also superb, at Archambault Falls, a 10-minute drive.
In the summer, enjoy the lake stocked with rainbow trout. At the dock, 2 kayaks (plus a sit-on for children), as well as a small boat with electric motor (lake without engine), or relax in the heated above-ground pool before ending the evening at the campfire. Small Lake Gagnon is calm and shallow.
Chalet completely renovated in 2015 and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped, but there is no dishwasher. There is a TV in the basement and one in the living room and the chalet is full of DVDs, games and books. Note that there is no phone line but there is (unlimited) internet wi-fi.
As a couple or family, for a weekend or for the summer, if you want a cozy little nest to relax, this is the place! From our little family to yours!
