In Val David, a picturesque village 90km North of Montreal, renowned for its cultural life, gastronomy and unique Laurentian charm, a cozy winter cottage for 6 awaits you.   Located in a secluded spot, at the end of a private road, the property on the banks of the North River lays in the midst of mature evergreen trees.  A ten-minute walk through a charming road will take you to the village where you'll find excellent restaurants and coffee shops, microbreweries, a great supermarket, drugstore and much more.  A short walk away, the Petit Train du Nord Linear Park offers biking/walking/jogging trails and, a bit farther, Dufresne Regional Park offers hiking/mountain biking/climbing facilities.  In the Summer, on the cottage premises, a big heated pool will delight children of all ages.  Fishing, canoeing and kayaking on the North River are directly accessible; equipment available.  

The country décor of the cottage will charm you by its simplicity, comfort and quaint details.  It has three sunny bedrooms, a bathroom (with washer and dryer) and a powder room upstairs; a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave oven and a separate dining room; an open living room with a slow combustion fireplace (firewood included), Wi-Fi and an intelligent TV.  Big windows open to majestic trees and a beautiful landscape of shrubs and flowers.  BBQ and screened gazebo for outdoor dining.
