A luxurious house with all modern conveniences located on the banks of Lake Matapédia (the 11th all natural lake in Quebec: 25 kilometers long and 3 kilometers wide). The house is situated in the center of the Matapédia Valley and is a part of the Gaspé peninsula circuit (route 132). The house sleeps 10/12 and includes 4 bedrooms, 2 living-rooms both with TVs-Dvd (one of these rooms has a fold-out sofa), a spacious kitchen/bar that is fully equipped with a large stove, a dishwasher, a built-in oven, 2 fridges/freezers, a microwave oven, a toaster, a coffee machine, an espresso machine, a pressure cooker, a slow-cooker... and many more amenities; 3 bathrooms, one with a washroom and accessories, a dining-room for 10/14 people, a sunroom equiped with a Scandinavian sauna for 5 people, an exercise bike and a game room, a terrace overlooking the lake, a garden table and chairs, a BBQ, an indoor and outdoor fireplace, benches, a lake-side gazebo and picnic table, a beach and dock for 2 boats. The house is also close to some marinas and docks. Telephone and Internet WiFi covering the whole property.

Winter:

15/20 minutes from the Val d'Irène ski resort (downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tube sledding, bar, restaurants, ski rentals..), other ski resorts nearby (Mont Comi, Mont Castor). Several snowshoe, cross country ski clubs are also close by (160 kilometers of groomed tracks + off-piste skiing). There is a direct access from the house to snowmobile trail number 5 (Gaspé peninsula tour) and to the local/interprovincial network of trails for Québec-New Brunswick and the USA. Kite skiing can be practiced on the lake. A curling rink, an indoor and an outdoor ice-skating rink are available in Amqui. Lake or sea ice-fishing is possible.

Spring-Summer-Autumn:

Beachcombing, swimming, canoes/kayaks/sea kayaking), docking for motorboats, sailboats, jet-skis, lake and river fishing, waterskiing, wake boards. On the edge of the Regional Park of "La Seigneurie du lac Matapédia", there are hiking and walking paths along with biking or mountain biking trails as well. Close by: International Appalachian trail, bike and mountainbike trails, geocaching spots, trout lakes and rivers, waterfalls, Chic-Choc mountains, Gaspé peninsula national Park (Mt Albert), the St. Laurent River (Bic, Rimouski, St Luce, Matane, Métis Gardens...etc.), Baie des chaleurs and New Brunswick. Salmon fishing on the Matapédia, Causapscal, Mitis, Matane, Restigouche-Patapedia rivers. Hunting in Zec Casault, Dunières reserve, Matane reserve and more. 2 golf clubs nearby (7mn-Revermont-18 holes/20mn- Vallée du rêve-9 holes). Several golf clubs readily accessible on the Gaspé peninsula circuit and at East of Bas-St Laurent (Golf Rivière hatée, Golf l'Empress, Golf du Bic, Golf des Saules, Golf Val-neigette, Golf Carleton, Golf Boule rock-Métis, Golf le Gaspésien-St Anne).

Direct access from the house to the Matapédia Valley Quad-ATV trails (over 700 kilometers of trails well-known as the“Quebec Quad-ATV paradise”, Side by side- Utv accepted ) which link the Gaspé peninsula circuit, to the Baie des chaleurs, Bas St. Laurent and to New Brunswick.
