Au Vent Doux is the perfect spot for a full vacation or weekend getaway by the shores of Lac Aylmer. The splendid view from the cottage will impress you at first sight. Head out to the patio and relax on the swing or under the gazebo with its set of patio furniture. A barbecue is also available.
During the day, take advantage of the lake for swimming, fishing or an excursion on one the small craft provided. The lake is shallow near the edge and the pebbly bottom drops of gradually. Lac Aylmer is 18 kilometres long and more than big enough for any water sport. Two kayaks, a pedal boat and a paddle board are available to guests during their stay.
Guests with a motorboat can launch it at the public ramp in the nearby town of Stratford and then moor it at the dock. Gas and restaurant services are also available a few kilometres away at the marina in Disraeli.
When evening comes, family or friends can gather around the outdoor fireplace by the lake. Grill up something delicious on the fire as you admire a star-filled night sky in the country. We even provide the wood! Au Vent Doux has everything you need for a restful, stress-free stay.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES
The cottage's bright interior is synonymous with quality. The main floor comprise a large kitchen adjoining a handsome living room with three-sided gas fireplace. On cold winter days, the fireplace quickly warms the room to a comfortable temperature. Large bay windows in the living room overlook the property and lake, and patio doors lead out onto the deck. Also on the ground floor are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with separate bath and shower.
The ground-level downstairs has a large living room, complete with wood stove, opening onto the yard. Also downstairs are a closed bedroom and bathroom with shower.
Guests may use the garage to store their bicycles.
Main floor: Open-concept kitchen, dining room and living room / Bedroom #1 : 1 Queen bed / Bedroom #2 : 1 Queen bed / Full bathroom (with glass shower and separate bathtub).
Downstairs: Bedroom #3 : 1 Queen bed / Bedroom #4 : 1 Double bed + 1 Double bunkbed (Simple bed on top can accomodate a 105 pds person maximum*) / Living room : 2 Single beds / 1 full bathroom with shower / washing room.
*If your group includes 11 adults, note that the single bunk bed in the 4th bedroom can not accommodate you, please bring a mattress for the 11th person, and do not use the single bed *
