Located in the Eastern Townships, in the magnificent touristic region of Coaticook, the cottage Au Lac aux Lucioles is noticed for its dream location surrounded by nature. The cottage is located in Saint-Herménégilde, on 9 acres of wooded and mountainous land with several small streams and a small private lake.

Its large lot is very private, wooded, in a beautiful clearing where you can enjoy the sun all day, whether sitting comfortably on the terrace outside, with the view of the lake or directly by the lake, at the end of the quay, both feet in the water! Let yourself be calmed by the song of the birds and the flow of water from the small springs that crisscross the land.

The kids will have a blast here! They will have plenty of space to run and play at their leisure. A geo-dome module is on site for little climbers! The lake then invites you to swim to cool off. You can use one of the many boats provided or even use the floating mat, to enjoy the sun, relaxing on the water.

End your days, all together, around an outdoor fire, in the area set up for this purpose. You can contemplate a starry sky without light pollution. For those who would like to relax a little more, a private 4-season hot tub awaits you.

Would you want to visit the region during your stay? Access to Wallace Lake is a 3-4 minute drive where you will find a public beach. Motorboats are permitted there. The Coaticook region is full of activities to do, regardless of the season. For outdoor enthusiasts, Mont Hereford is 20 minutes from the cottage, for hiking or mountain biking.

Please note that in winter, the driveway is plowed and accessible to any vehicle. However, the last stretch of the yard, to park directly next to the cottage, may be difficult to access for some cars. It is suggested to leave the car at the bottom of the hill, instead of parking it next to the cottage's entrance. 4x4s are preferred if you wish to park at the top. Snowmobiles and quads are not permitted on the land of the cottage.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES

Inside, comfort is everywhere. This beautiful cottage with numerous woodwork will charm you with its warm atmosphere. On the main floor, you will find an open area bringing together the kitchen and the dining room. This room has many windows, inviting the sun in the morning. You will find access to the terrace, greatly appreciated during the summer months. You can prepare your meals outside on the BBQ and eat in the fresh air, with a view of nature. Let's go back inside; you will also find on the ground floor a closed bedroom and a full bathroom.

Upstairs are 2 closed bedrooms, one of which has 4 single beds, perfect for children. The living room is located on this floor and can also be used as a playroom for the children. The lower level gives you another access to the outside, for the use of the hot tub. There you will find a large entrance with plenty of room and storage to prepare you for your winter outings. This floor includes a lounge area with a wood stove and an air hockey table. A closed bedroom, a bathroom and a laundry room are there.
