Located in the Appalachian Mountains at the edge of the villages of Kinnear's Mills and Saint-Jacques-de-Leeds, one hour drive from Quebec, our beautiful three-storey house offers 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was built in 2001 almost entirely of wood and recycled beams which gives it all the charm of yesteryear.
Our home offers a pleasant mix of ancestral touches (antique L'Islet cooker, old-fashioned fridge) and modernity (gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, washer and dryer).
On the ground floor, there is a beautiful large fully equipped kitchen, the stove L'Islet and the fireplace, a dining area, a large living room, a dining room, a small boudoir (with an excellent sound system including Bluetooth) and a bathroom (toilet and old-fashioned bath).
Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a queen bed, three bedrooms with double beds, a bedroom with two single beds, a small living room (with TV corner) and a full bathroom (toilet, old-fashioned bath, shower).
In the basement, there is a bedroom with a queen size bed and a single bed, a relaxation area with television (bank of movies) with queen sofa bed, a laundry room and bathroom (toilet and shower) and a slow combustion stove.
Large, comfortable and bright, it is situated on a vast (6 acres) landscaped and hilly terrain with two streams and a small lake, a large vegetable garden, an orchard and an above ground salt pool (heated with heat pump and solar).

1) The house offer internet connection and the mobile coverage (phone line and data) is excellent.
2) The house is favorable to events: family reunions and friends, but Open House events are strictly forbidden.
