In summertime, swimming is pleasant and safe as the lake bottom is drops off gradually. Access to magnificent Lac Aylmer is just a two-minute walk from the cottage. Follow the road to the lake and you'll find a large semi-private lawn with two docks, one reserved for your group. You can moor a boat here for the full length of your stay or use the boat launch at the local marina. If you don't have a boat, you can head out onto the lake in one of two kayaks or rowboat available to guests.

Children can play in the sandbox or explore the forest surrounding the cottage. To get the most out of your holiday, take advantage of the many cultural and sport activities available in the region. Nature lovers have access to ATV trails (6 km from the cottage), as well as walking trails at nearby Parc Bellerive. In winter, the spot offers excellent cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and tobogganing. The scenery is spectacular whatever season you choose to come.

The cottage has all the comforts you could want. A spacious fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and stainless steel appliances makes meal preparation a pleasure. The open-concept dining room has place to seat up to 10 guests. Settle into one of the comfortable living room sofas to watch some satellite television or a film on the DVD player.

The 3 closed bedrooms have a total of 4 queen-size beds, in addition to a double sofa bed downstairs. Fun evenings await in the downstairs games room with soccer and air hockey tables. There is 1 half bathroom and 1 full bathroom (with corner shower and separate bath).
