1. Payment Policy

1.1 Booking deposit

30% of the cost of the rental is required to book the rental dates. The reservation deposit is the sum to be paid by the tenant when booking the chalet. This step allows you to block the rental dates for your single reservation.

1.2 Balance

The remaining balance, 70% of the cost of the rental, must be paid 30 days before your arrival date.

Attention: If your reservation is made within 30 days, the total amount of the reservation and the security deposit will be required at the time of booking.

1.3 Security Deposit / Security

A security deposit of a minimum of $ 500 will be retained on your credit card in the event of breakage or damage. Before your arrival, you will receive a request for withdrawal of the security deposit the amount of which was mentioned at the time of your reservation. Be sure to complete the requested information within 48 hours of receiving the email. In the event of a minor breakage, an amount equivalent to the value of the breakage or damage will be levied if necessary. The deposit may be higher than the above amount, if the owner so requests.

2. Change and Cancellation Policy

2.1 Changing a reservation

It may happen that your plans change, we are aware of this and that is how we allow the modification of a reservation within 30 days before the rental date made.

If it is a modification of the dates of reservation: we will first have to check if these dates are always available before confirming the modification.

If it is a change of resort: you have finally had a heart for another chalet, we will also have to check if the other chalet is available on the desired dates before confirming the change.

Important: No change can be made less than 30 days before the scheduled rental date.

2.2 Cancellation of a reservation

A cancellation made more than 30 days before the rental date will result in the loss of the 30% deposit as damages.

A cancellation made less than 30 days before the rental will result in the loss of all sums received so far. Only the damage and damage deposit will be refunded to the tenants.                       

3. Breakage and Damage Policy

In the event of a major break in the cottage or a situation where the house can not be occupied, the tenant is reimbursed 100% or relocated to an equivalent cottage, subject to availability. No additional amount will be given to the tenant.

In the event of a break or damage during the rental of the chalet by the tenant, the latter is required to notify www.monsieurchalets.com. In case of major doubt or confirmation of the liability of the tenant, the deposit will be fully retained and handed over to the owner to compensate him.

4. Cottage Occupancy Policy

The tenant must leave the premises in the same condition as on arrival. Additional cleaning and spa maintenance fees may apply if cleaning and use instructions are not followed.

It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside a chalet. In case of reasonable doubt, the security deposit will be fully retained and returned to the owner for damages.
