This heritage home is located in the heart of the village of Notre-Dame-du-Portage. It's called “Figaro,” after the nickname of its former owner. The house offers lovely proximity to the St. Lawrence River. From the veranda, you can enjoy a stunning view of the water, and the beach is just a short 350-meter walk away via the local wharf. For those who prefer warmer waters, there's also a saltwater pool right next door. A quiet back terrace provides the perfect setting for relaxing outdoor meals.

RULES • Minimum stay: 5 nights • Check-in: 3:30 PM \ Check-out: 11:00 AM • This is a non-smoking home • Pets are not allowed • Please report any damages • The home is ideal for two adults. However, we can accommodate 1 or 2 children, as the upstairs bedroom has a double bed (to be discussed with the host) • Guests are expected to be respectful of neighbors and keep noise levels down outdoors • Please leave the house as you found it: items in their place and dishes washed. Cleaning and laundry of bedding will be handled by the host.
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable 30 days before the rental date by Interac e-transfer.
In case of cancellation, the refund policy is as follows: • 100% refund if canceled 60 days before the start of the stay • 50% of the deposit refunded if canceled 30 days before the stay
If cancellation occurs less than 20 days before the start of the stay, the tenant will be required to pay the full rental amount.
A $300 security deposit is required upon key handover. It will be fully refunded within 7 days after the rental. This deposit serves as a symbolic guarantee in case of theft, damage, or failure to comply with the house rules.
Should the stay need to be canceled or interrupted due to unforeseen issues with the property (e.g., water, electricity), the owner's liability is limited to the rental cost. Unused days will be refunded, but no additional compensation will be provided.
A rental agreement including the above terms must be signed to confirm the reservation.
